Anatoly Yarmolenko Admires Clair Brothers Sound Quality at Chizhovka Arena

Chizhovka Arena in Minsk

April 14, 2014

In anticipation of the World Hockey Championship in Minsk, the Ice Rink, Chizhovka Arena, installed new concert equipment provided by Clair Brothers.

The system was delivered to Minsk from the U.S. in two containers, weighing in at a wopping 15 tons. Clair Brothers engineers were on site to demonstrate the system's performance.

"This is our latest development, designed for large venues that can accommodate anywhere between two to twelve thousand spectators," said Clair Brothers Design Engineer, Josh Sadd to Komsomolskaya Pravda. This system is already in use in Asia and the U.S., but Minsk is the pioneer for this system in Europe.

In order to work with such high-end equipment, expert engineers and crew are required, but employees of the Chizhovka Arena were taught basic knowledge in order to run the system on a day-to-day basis. In addition, engineers from Lithuania, Russia and Kazakhstan visited Minsk in order to learn about the intricacies of the equipment.

The People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoly Yarmolenko, tested the new sound system at Chizhovka Arena and expressed his admiration for the sound quality of the newly-installed Clair Brothers system.

"Although the Clair Brothers system was not cheap, I'm glad that the price matches the quality. It was wonderful to have such a fun system to play with!" says a delighted Anatoly. "It was possible to purchase equipment for half the price, but the capabilities were not the same. Now A-listers will not go to Warsaw or Moscow, but Minsk!"
